My Favorite Book – Part 2

In second grade I plagiarized E.B. White’s beloved story, Charlotte’s Web. Of course, I had no idea what plagiarism was so when I sat down and started “writing” my book I was simply doing so because that particular book made me want to write. I will never forget that experience, nor will I ever forget the impact that Charlotte’s Web had on my life and my literacy experience: ending up an English major and soon-to-be published author should have been no surprise at all!
